Waterman Downstream Level Control Gate models are well

flood control, they do not require operators, motors or any power
sources. THEY ARE JUST AUTOMATIC!

Typical applications of Waterman downstream level control
gates are as automatic regulators for irrigation canals under
demand control, outlet gates for storm water detention basins,
wastewater treatment facility flow equalization and wetland
restoration or flood control projects.

Waterman Types A&B automatic level control gates maintain the downstream water level irrespective of upstream level conditions and flow demand from downstream.

Waterman downstream automatic level control gates are available in two models:

Waterman Type A downstream level control gate is used for canals free surface flow while Type B automatic level control gate is used for orifice openings.
